Last season was a rookie year of the ages for a young right fielder who became known simply as 'The Judge". Almost down to the last day of ST, he was not sure where he would be starting 2017 - in the Bronx or in Scranton for the AAA Railriders. Aaron fought to prove himself and WOW did he ever take the AL by storm - shattering records previously held by Mark McGwire, Joe DiMaggio and Babe Ruth. Landing the landslide vote for AS appearance, his mind-blowing performance in the home run derby had us in AWE!!!! Unanimous AL ROY was a given - well that 7-week slump might have given us thought. When the season ended he emerged a star - then for Christmas Hal, Cash, etc. gave Yankee Universe the gift of signing the matching bookend in Giancarlo Stanton.
