Great informative (for Cash that is) interview from Brian Cashman this afternoon. Adam Warren has been placed on the DL with his trap soreness. Sanchez & Hicks for now are day to day. Mason Crosby and Higashawa are joining the team in Oakland at least for the weekend - one of the minor pitchers will be sent down. Chapman is pitching tonight for Trenton and will be activated Sunday if all goes well. Ellsbury is progressing with baseball activities and could be sent for rehab assignment in the near future. Greg Bird will see a specialist in S. Carolina about his ankle - all baseball activity has been halted. Chance Adams is not the first line for call up for starting pitcher. Tyler Wade at this time is first in line if we need a 3rd baseman whether due to injury or switching Headley to 1st. Tyler Austin still needs work at AAA but is improving. There is no talk about bringing Gleybar Torres up at this time or in the near future. In typical Cash fashion everything quantified as being subject to change if it becomes in the team's best interest.
