What can the Yankees do for an encore following this weekend!!!! Sweep of the WS champs - one with a 3-run dinger in the 9th with 2 outs & 2 strikes from Gardy; then a 5-run 1st in game 2 as Montgomery gets his 2nd ML W; and it all culminated with an 18-inning, record setting 48 Ks; longest game of the season ending in the wee hours and both teams having to travel-only Tommy Layne (outside of starting pitchers) was left-I bet tonight the team will playing an adrenalin. It's a beautiful ballpark - had the pleasure of attending games there and meeting Don Mattingly when he was coach for the Dodgers.
