These are the suspensions handed down for yesterday's Battle in MoTown - subject to appeals:
|Miguel Cabrera - 7 games
Austin Romine - 2 games (for throwing punches, defending himself
)
Gary Sanchez - 4 games ( cheap shots for defending his teammates)
Alex Wilson - 4 games - admitted throwing at Toddler
Brad Ausmus - 1 game -
7 others have been fined -
Sanchez to appeal- get these off the books before Thursday - and juggle things. Checking the DL - one move might to transfer either Cessa or Cooper to the 60-DL - there will be plenty of players available for Sept. callups. If we bring up the catcher from S/WB (think Eddie Rodriquez is the name)
Yankee fines - Joe G. Rob Thompson, Tommy Kahnle Garrett Cooper, Clint Frasier (the last two for entering the field while on the DL))
