I don't like the idea of the suspensions but under Torre = Yankee fans complained that our players didn't stick up for each other - our batters got hit and pitchers never retaliated. Today was because umpires did not know the history between Cabrera/Tiggers & the Yankees from last month. When Sanchez got hit, the warming should have been issued. That might have circumvented what followed: Cabrera called out Romine 0 Austin did not provoke and really kept his composure longer than many before taking him down. Can you believe the idiot umpire had his back to this scenario until they were on the ground - they lost control of things at this point. Playing in NY might play against us too - if suspensions come down next week, being home any appeals could be held almost immediately just because we are the Yankees and MLB likes to make an example of the Bombers.
