and if we hadn't traded him to the Cubs we wouldn't have gotten Adam Warren back in the fold. He's off to be sure and I think it's very plausible to wonder about the his usage by Maddon last year in the playoffs. Not a stretch to think there has been a spillover into this season regardless of whose uniform he might be wearing.

Chapman hasn't quite reached the depths of Mitch "Wild Thing" Williams territory as far as these pressure/save situations but it has become much more of a roller coaster when he is coming into games to hold a lead or save a game.

I can't take issue with Cashman for this signing either. I was more than happy to welcome Chapman back into the pinstriped fold! Here's hoping that he can get it figured out and soon!
