This was anticipated after Clint Frasier was scratched last night from the lineup with tightness in the oblique. His post game interview revealed he had been experiencing something for a few days but the adrenalin of game action covered it. He said anything to Joe G, coaches or med staff - fortunately Joe saw him grabbing the side during BP and took action. Since Aaron Hicks was ready & would have been called up for Friday's start of rivalry week, the decision was easy. DL Red Thunder and bring Hicks to Toronto for the series finale. Benches are short enough with the influx of RPs in the pen necessary due to the pitch count and/or ineffectiveness of starters to go deep in games.
