Been a busy day and now getting ready to wrap up this road trip - worked on more pix from the wedding then breakfast with my son-in-law & his girlfriend (Laurie's husband) Looked at the YES wire and see Smith is pitching for us - first thought "Yes, it's not Cessa" then who is Smith. Had to check the roster then it dawned Caleb Smith. See what he can bring.
Side note - Ji-Man Choi has been outrighted to S/WB - remember both he & Rob Refsnyder had been DFA'd after the Sox trade. No word on Ref - possibly trying to work a deal/trade. Did anyone else get a charge out the headlines on FB that Cash was inquiring about Giancarlo with the Marlins? First our OF is deep otherwise Rutherford would not have been dealt - and even IF he was available we aren't mortgaging the future. But I could see Cash talking during the AS break with their GM - and a so what would you want for Giancarlo? in an offhand way.
